Adjustable Seat Install Guide
Follow these simple steps to get started. Click images to enlarge.
Tools Needed
You will need:
M4 Allen Key
M5 Allen Key
M6 Allen Key
REMOVE SEATBELT
Seatbelt is included but not recommended for Crazy Cart use. Please remove seatbelt and reinstall bolts. Seatbelt will not be needed.
Remove Stock Seat
Grab your M5 allen key and remove 4 bolts holding on the stock seat.
Gather Adapter Plate & Hardware
You will need:
The metal adapter palte
6 M6 countersunk bolts
6 metal spacers
Grab 6 Metal Spacers
You will need these for the next step.
Put Spacers Over The Rear 6 Holes
Carefully put the spacers over the 6 holes with arrows above them.
Put Spacers Here
Do not put the spacers over the area with the red X's. Only put the spacers over the areas with arrows.
Place Adapter Plate On Spacers
Carefully place the plate on top of the spacers without moving the spacers.
Verify Spacers are Unmoved
Check that the spacers have not shifted and are directly underneath the holes.
Gather 6 Countersunk Screws
You will need these for the next step
Insert 6 Screws In Countersunk Holes
Insert the screws inside of the countersunk holes with arrows listed.
Tighten Screws
Verify that the screws are tightened securely.
Grab 4 Small Washers
These 4 washers will be placed under the rails.
Place 4 Washers Over The M8 Holes
Very important to place these small washers over the M8 holes for proper rail movement.
Remember to place all 4 washers
Place 4 washers in these positions located here.
Gather Shorter Rails and 4 Small Screws
Grab the parts shown in the image.
VERIFY THAT YOU ARE USING THE SHORTER RAILS.
(THE OTHER RAILS ARE FOR THE SEAT)
Place Rails on Plate ON TOP OF WASHERS
Verify that the rail with teeth is on the side listed in the picture.
Line Up Holes With Plate
Make sure that the rail with the teeth is on the left side of the kart and that the holes are lined up with the plate.
(MAKE SURE TEETH ARE FACING OUT)
Grab 4 Small Screws
Gather the smaller screws shown in the image.
Bolt Down Rails to Plate
Place 4 screws in holes and secure rails to adapter plate.
Gather 4 Bolts and Taller Rails
Verify that you are using the rails with the handle and the other rail that looks similar along with the 4 bolts.
Get Your Seat
Grab your seat from the package.
Flip Seat Over
Find the 4 holes underneath the bottom of the seat.
Place Rails on Seat
Place rail with handle on the left side of the seat. And place the other rail without the handle on the right side of the seat over the holes.
Grab 4 Bolts
Gather the 4 bolts for bolting the rails onto the seat.
Put 4 Bolts into Holes
Line rails with holes and securley fasten the rail sytstem.
Line Up Rails
Line up the seat rails with the rails on the kart and insert carefully.
Pull Handle on Seat and Slide in
Pull handle on left side of the seat and slide in until it clicks.
You're Done!
