How fast does the XL GT-ONE actually go?
The XL GT-ONE tops out at roughly 50 mph, and it pulls hard the whole way there.
This kart has the potential to go much faster but for safety purposes we gear it to 50mph stock.
Gearing can also be adjusted by the end user but is not recommended.
Can I hot-swap batteries to keep the session going?
Yes. The pack is built to drop out fast, so you can swap in a fresh battery and keep ripping instead of standing around a charger.
Is this built for adults or is it a kid's toy?
Adults, full stop. The XL GT-ONE is the biggest kart we make, longer frame, more power, and a weight capacity over 250lbs.
Is the XL GT-ONE street legal?
It's a performance kart built for private property, tracks, lots, and events, not public roads. Like most karts in its class, it isn't plated or registered for street use. Always check your local rules before you ride.
Where am I actually allowed to ride it?
Anywhere smooth and private: your own driveway, an empty lot, a track, or a sanctioned event space. It loves clean pavement and concrete, skip grass, gravel, and wet surfaces. If the spot isn't yours, get permission first.
Does it ship assembled, or is there setup?
It ships assembled. You'll need to plug in the battery to the controller and you're done! No special tools or mechanical know-how required.
What's covered under warranty?
Every XL GT-ONE is backed by a 1 year warranty covering defects in the drivetrain, electronics.
Normal wear items like tires, belts, and drift wheels aren't covered.

What kind of upkeep does it need?
Far less than a gas kart. No oil, no fuel.
Keep it charged, keep it dry, and check tire and drift wheel wear plus bolt and belt tension every so often. That's about it.
One heads up: with this much power, tires are what you'll go through fastest. Stock up on a few sets, or run a more docile tune if you want them to last longer.

What is the estimated ship date after order?
Times may vary. XL Karts must be shipped via freight on pallets due to the size. Please allow for 1-2 weeks to prepare kart for shipment and ensure everything meets our standards.
Are there different speed modes?
Yes, you can easily select different modes through the included digital display!
